The Cassenshof stands for lived family tradition and high-quality food. Located in the idyllic Lüneburg Heath, this traditional farm has been run by the Voß family for 13 generations. Here, free-range and organic eggs, as well as delicious potatoes and asparagus, are grown under optimal conditions. 

 

With a strong focus on sustainability and regional marketing, the Cassenshof offers a wide range of fresh products directly from the farm. We source our tasty eggs and asparagus directly from the Cassenshof, which contributes to the quality of our dishes. Additionally, the farm regularly invites visitors to harvest festivals, where they can experience rural life up close. 

Maison Kober (Käse Affineur)

Maison Kober is a renowned cheese affineur from Schleswig-Holstein, specializing in exquisite cheese delicacies since 1998. In the rural idyll, the team knows every cow, every sheep, and every farmer from whom they source their raw milk. This milk is processed into high-quality cheese in their on-site dairy. 

 

The affinage is carried out with great attention to detail: the cheeses are washed, turned, smeared, and refined with regional herbs. Maison Kober places great emphasis on local ingredients, such as local apple liqueur, for enhancing their Northern German cheese varieties. For our guests, we use the delicious organic cheeses from Maison Kober, known for their outstanding flavor. 

 

Over more than 25 years, the company has specialized in more than 150 types of cheese, aged between four weeks and several months. The goal is to emphasize the characteristic taste of each cheese. Additionally, Maison Kober collaborates with European partners to offer a diverse range of products and promises to care for and refine each cheese individually. 

Hesterberg
Gut Hesterberg 

Gut Hesterberg, a family-run farm with its own butchery, stands for the highest quality and sustainability in food production. Located about 60 kilometers outside Berlin, the company manages over 1,000 hectares of agricultural and forestry land in the picturesque Neuruppin region. 

 

The "Echt Havelländer Apfelschwein" (Genuine Havelland Apple Pig), produced exclusively for Havelland Express, receives a special diet including apple pomace and enjoys animal-friendly husbandry with ample freedom of movement, resulting in aromatic, finely marbled meat of the highest quality. 

 

All products are manufactured in the farm's own butchery manufactory according to traditional recipes and refined with natural spices and genuine beech smoke. The transparency and traceability of the entire production chain - from rearing to processing - guarantee the highest quality for our meat specialties in the restaurant and sausage variations at the breakfast buffet. 

Müritzfischer

As the largest inland fishing operation in Germany under the brand "Die Müritzfischer," the company combines tradition and innovation in fishing. The Müritz-Plau Fishery GmbH is known for its traditional fishing practices, where fishermen preserve the old romance of the craft. At the same time, the company focuses on modern aquaculture and sustainable fish farming, complemented by contemporary processing techniques. 

 

As a hotel, we source our fish products directly from the Müritz fishermen, thereby supporting their traditional and sustainable fish farming.
